This Returns & Warranty Policy outlines the conditions under which Aventria Life
Science Pty Ltd (“Aventria”, “we”, “us”) accepts returns and assists with warranty
claims.
Due to the nature of scientific equipment and supplier-direct fulfilment, returns are
limited and subject to approval.
We do not generally accept returns for change of mind.
If a return is approved at our discretion:
• The item must be:
o Unused
o In original packaging
o In saleable condition
• The Customer is responsible for:
o Return freight costs
o A restocking fee (typically 15–25%)
Approval is not guaranteed and may depend on supplier acceptance.
The following items are generally non-returnable, except where required by law:
• Capital equipment
• Custom or configured systems
• Special-order or supplier-specific items
• Opened or used consumables
Customers must:
• Inspect goods upon delivery
• Notify Aventria within 48 hours of:
o Damage
o Missing items
o Incorrect supply
Claims must include:
• Order reference
• Description of the issue
• Photographic evidence where applicable
We will:
• Assist in coordinating with freight providers or suppliers
• Arrange replacement, repair, or resolution where appropriate
5.1 Manufacturer Warranty
• Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
• Warranty terms vary depending on the supplier and product
Aventria:
• Is not the manufacturer
• Does not provide additional warranties unless explicitly stated
5.2 Warranty Claims Process
To initiate a warranty claim:
• Contact Aventria with:
o Product details
o Description of the fault
o Supporting documentation
We will:
• Assist in lodging claims with the manufacturer
• Help facilitate repair, replacement, or technical support
Final outcomes are determined by the manufacturer.
5.3 Warranty Limitations
Warranty does not cover:
• Misuse or improper operation
• Incorrect installation
• Lack of maintenance
• Normal wear and tear
• Unauthorised modification or repair
• Customers are responsible for return freight unless:
o The product is confirmed faulty; or
o Required under applicable law
• For approved returns:
o Goods must be securely packaged
o Risk during return shipping remains with the Customer
Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the
Australian Consumer Law.
If a product:
• Has a major fault; or
• Fails to meet consumer guarantees
You may be entitled to:
• Repair
• Replacement
• Refund
Where goods are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal use, remedies may be
limited as permitted by law.
Returned items may be inspected to determine:
• Eligibility for return or warranty
• Condition of the goods
• Applicable fees or outcomes
If a returned item is found not to be faulty:
• It may be returned to the Customer at their cost
Where a refund is approved:
• It will be processed using the original payment method where possible
• Timing may vary depending on:
o Payment provider
o Banking processes
